Redesigned for 2008 the Sx3. Our best selling fly rod, completely handcrafted in Michigan featuring custom hand made Bellinger nickel silver reel seats with hand picked highly figured Spalted Maple wood inserts.
High modules (38ton) IM6, mahogany graphite blank features a smooth, powerful action even in these light line weights. Our slim blank, and Ferrule design makes these rods some of the lightest most responsive fly rods every built. The carbon fiber scrim cuts down the physical weight and increases the hoop strength of this series of rods.
Specifically designed for small stream, spring creek, and light line fly anglers. Built for ease of long or short range casting styles, you will not find a better built, higher quality, more responsive fly rod at any price than the Sx3. Kayak and float tube anglers will also benefit from the shorter lengths of this series; giving these anglers the ability to bring their catch in closer for easy release.
